I was looking for Jumanji tickets at nearby AMC, by the time I reached show was full. I quickly looked up online and went for Molly"s Game. Man, it was amazing. I was so happy that I didn"t get tickets for Jumanji. Jessica,Idris were amazing. This is 10/10 film. A must watch film. Does anyone know if she makes money from the movie? cause if so she 100% finessed so many people. queen of finessing. This could have been a perfect poker movie but they just had to mess up the hands. It"s a weird mix: the jargon is at the level of someone who has played recreationally for two years, yet the hands and the analyzing by Molly is at the level of someone who"s watched two hours of old WSOP highlights on ESPN. My theory is that they had a decent poker consultant who would have made the first hand look something like the Ronnie Bardah vs Miss Finland (an unconventional but successful bluff from a fishy amateur on a pro) but the producers thought all of that too complicated and insisted on high but simple drama. Classic hollywood: simplification to the point where things make no sense. By the time they insisted that on a Q77 flop a guy (1) just knows his opponent to have queens full (wtf? how? but (2) decides to represent quad sevens (WTF. the consultant had probably already quit and demanded that his name is taken out of the end credits.

Hellmuth getting steamed is like watching my father trying to fix a dryer. It"s just pissing him off and anyone watching is cracking up. Nice facts. The movie shows how important the TIME is ????. I really liked this film. Aaron Sorkin spun another great story. I very rarely read a book a movie is based on after seeing the film itself. However, I was motivated to make an exception in this case. Imagine what Hellmuth was like as a toddler, teen. Molly"s Game completely free of charge and without registration. Director: ok so you know like every female assassin movie ever? That"s what I"m thinking. I dont know why they say he cant be James Bond he has the presence. After watching this I can honestly say: Elba for President. After watching the movie, I can only think that Molly was in this for the challenge and the excitement of being around powerful people. In a different world she might be a free solo rock climber. Honey, he called with 48off. Great acting however the story left a sour taste in my mouth. They made her out to be a decent person that just made a mistake and this is Hollywood"s payback for her withholding her emails and texts. She hired models, but no sex was going on? No prostitutes? She was the only one using drugs? She didn"t sleep with not one of those rich and powerful men? Lol come on.
And to put icing on the cake, they make her guilty plea at the end as honorable or a sense of integrity.

This is My Favourite Scene, Powerfull Movie Scene. He Really Showed those Guys. How much you want to bet he knows where Jimmy Hoffa"s body is buried. Overall, the film has a good plot but it does not succeed to reach a climax where we feel all kind of emotions for Molly. I only felt emotions at the beginning with the flashback of her skiing competition.
The actors all seem to be superficial, apart from Molly, we learn nothing from the others and thus cannot feel any compassion for them. I would have liked to know more about the mafia or the famous actor or even the lawyer.
On a positive side, there are some nice shots with a good use of the lighting, some dialogues are well structured and Jessica Chastain delivers a good performance.
